Fans will be able to hear Lindsay Ell's interpretation of John Mayer's Continuum album in the very near future. The country singer has announced that her version of the influential album will be available on May 25.

When Ell was at the beginning stages of her latest album, The Projectproducer Kristian Bush challenged her to record every song and instrument on her favorite Mayer album as a way to spark creativity and inspiration before she went in the studio to create her own music. This is the result.

Fans will now get to hear the immersive experiment. The Grammy-winning Continuum includes some of Mayer's signature tracks, like "Waiting on the World to Change" and "Dreaming With a Broken Heart."

Ell played co-producer and co-engineer on her version and says she "learned so much" about herself. "I think it was through recording The Project that I feel like I’ve become a different singer, a different player, a different songwriter, just a different artist all together," she says.

You can also hear Ell's talent on Keith Urban's new album, Graffiti Uin the form of the grand "Horses," a collaboration fans may get to see live when she hits the road with Urban on his Graffiti U World Tour in the fall. She's also set to reunite with her Project producer as an opening act on Sugarland's 2018 Still the Same Tour in July.
