Just because you're a star, doesn't mean you don't get starstruck meeting your favorite celebrities. Case in point: Kelsea Ballerini's Mandy Moore moment at a Super Bowl party over the weekend.

Ballerini and husband Morgan Evans attended a tailgate party where the cast of This Is Us were also celebrating football, and the country singer gave fans a play-by-play of her attempt to meet the stars of today's hottest TV series. Ballerini admits she's kind of obsessed with the show, and she was successful — she met Mandy Moore, who plays Rebecca on the series.

"Y'all know that I'm the biggest fangirl that there is," she says in a selfie video taken as she and her husband waited by the exit to catch the cast on their way out. A second video shows Evans revealing to fans that the's never seen his wife fangirl this much:

Ballerini's wish finally comes true, and she gets to profess her love and admiration to the music/TV star directly. Though the interaction happened off-camera, it sounds like it was just as magical as she hoped it would be.

"I just went up to her and I gave her a hug and I said 'I love you, is that weird?'" Ballerini says, recapping. "She said 'no.' And then I said 'I love This is Us, A Walk to Remember and all of your albums' and she was like 'Thank you' and I was like 'happy Super Bowl!"

This Is Us has become a favorite series for ... well, everyone. Thomas Rhett and Lady Antebellum have also admitted to loving the show, and they'll probably be jealous about Ballerini's experience. This should be a sign of a pretty amazing year ahead for the young country star, who's slated for her headlining Unapologetically Tour in support of the album of the same name before hitting the road as Keith Urban's opening act on his Graffiti U Tour.
