"What happened to the deli/restaurant on 44/55 by Rocking Horse Ranch? It was open for a week and now it looks deserted again", came the question in a local Facebook community group. They weren't the only ones looking for answers.
Robbie's Breakfast & Lunch Closes in Highland, NY
Across many Facebook groups, curious residents came looking for answers about the restaurant, called Robbie's Breakfast & Lunch. The business, which offered special discounts for teachers, students, first responders, and members of the military, thankfully answered the questions personally.

"We do apologize. However, a family member has become very ill", an owner shared on Facebook in September. "Again we apologize and we will re-open very shortly. We thank you for your understanding."

While a more recent update has not been shared, the community is hopeful that the family behind Robbie's Breakfast & Lunch can soon reopen their doors. "Your [family's] health is more important than anything else in life. I hope everything works out for you", shared one commenter.
