The word "foodie" is used a lot these days and going out to eat has become a whole new social media movement. There are people who live and breathe for food, they plan their day around it, and make a ton of cool social media content that's completely centered around food.

The word is kind of funny LOL...a "foodie" is anyone who loves gourmet dining and someone who enjoys finding new and unique flavors wherever they can find them. It sounds like it can be pretty expensive to be a foodie, but there are a lot of cities and locations that now cater to foodies and they try keep things pretty affordable so foodies will come and dine there.

There's always a list lol a new list has come out about where the "best foodie cities" are in the country. WalletHub was able to figure out the data by looking at the cost of groceries, access to high-quality restaurants, and the number of food festivals in the area. These are all pretty important factors when it comes to being a foodie and deciding where to go.

So, where did New York land on this new list?
