It's been 20 years since Gretchen Wilson got her big break in country music with the release of her huge hit single, "Redneck Woman."

She's earned the right to give advice — she's got a lot of experience under her belt — so during a visit to the Taste of Country Nights studio to speak with Evan Paul, she did just that, offering a tip to up-and-coming artists.

On the latest episode of Taste of Country Nights: On Demand, the "Here for the Party" singer was asked what common mistake she sees new artists making on their journey to success.

"I mean for me— and maybe it's because I'm an old lady, I'm 51 years old — I feel like they share too much," Wilson says. "There's no exclusivity to being an artist anymore because everybody shares everything about themselves."

"Maybe I'm too boring, but, you will not see me on my social ... I only say things when there's things to be said," the Grammy winner notes. "I'm not getting up going, 'Well, today I'm going to do this.'"

Wilson feels people share way too much on Twitter, Instagram and the like. "I'm not that important. Ya know, people have lives to live," she says. "I feel like people share too much."

"Little Miss Runner-Up" is Wilson's current country radio single. She has many tour dates ahead and continues to perform live for her fans.

Evan Paul is the host of Taste of Country Nights, a syndicated radio show heard on more than 130 country radio stations nationwide, every night from 7PM to midnight. He plays the best new country music and interviews today's top stars, like Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Dan + Shay, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Lady A, + more!
