Sometimes we get asked some crazy questions...LOL!

Almost everyday when we get fired up for the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show, we go through our emails and sometimes we get one that we have to get on the show ASAP. Today was one of those days.

Megan emailed us, "My Hubs has been out of town for 2 weeks, and I've been crockpotting it. I'm getting pretty good at it..anyway, I made Hawaiian Chicken on Saturday, and have eaten it every night since. I still have enough for me to eat tonight. It's been in the fridge for 6 days and my question is, is 6 days too long to eat the same leftovers? I hate to waste food, though. Am I going to die of food poisoning because I'm lazy?"

Neither Jess or I think that Megan will die from eating it BUT with chicken we think that 6 days is definitely to long, right?

As soon as we read her email on the show, we got some text messages through the Wolf mobile app with some suggestions on how to handle them at home.

Cleat texted, "6 days... too much... I do the 10 door rule. Put it in the fridge. If you open the fridge door 10 times and it’s still there... toss it!"

Dee texted I can eat leftovers 6, 7, 8 days after I cook the food but my family calls me iron gut because I eat anything! On a side note I even convinced my kids moldy spots in bagels once was flour lol lol They found out and still laugh!"

OMG, I think at one time or another we have all tried to convince ourselves that those spots are just flour...LOL!
