I am calling it the "Gwen Factor" but I am sure it is just a coincidence. I am confident that just because Blake has teamed up musically and other wise with Gwen Stefani there is no plan afoot in Nashville to have every male country artist team up with a girl from another music genre. But just in case lets look at the video tapes shall we.

First their was Brad Paisley's "Without a Fight" featuring Demi Lovato.

And since that song has been released we have had two more songs climbing the country charts with one of Nashville's Gentleman being teamed up with a Lady from another format.

There is Dierks Bentley's "Different For Girls" featuring Elle King

And Kenny Chesney has found a match with Pink on his new song "Setting The World On Fire". This one is too new for a full video but the lyric video has been released for all of you ready to put it on the Karaoke list this week.

So is it a trend or a fad? Who knows and who cares, let's face it all three songs are great and what lady in her right mind would say no to singing along with any one of these three. I do have one more pair I'd like to see team up, Eric Church and Stevie Nicks. They'd be the best ever.
