Hudson Valley Town Becomes Irish This Weekend

Need a break from all of the planning for Oktoberfest? How about donning all of your green and listening to bagpipes as opposed to tubas? You can do it Saturday, Sept. 24 in Peekskill at the Riverfront Green Park located at 30 Hudson Avenue. Wear your green, grab your friends and get ready to celebrate, rain or shine.

The festivities will take place from 11AM to 6PM. During the day, there will be several live music performances as well as vendors selling Irish related wares plus food and beverage available for purchase.

Pets are not allowed at the site (unless they are service animals with documentation) and the organizers also say "no coolers." Tickets are $10 in advance. This event is suitable for all ages.
