The Ulster County Sheriff's Office recently confirmed an open and active death investigation in the Town of Olive.
On August 25, at about 8:30 AM, Olive Police and deputies from this agency responded to a 911 call at 38 Private Road 20 in the Olivebridge area in the Town of Olive for a reported unattended death.
The decedent was identified as 63-year-old Rose M. Mayhew-Moses, 63, of Saugerties. The preliminary investigation suggests Mayhew-Moses was visiting relatives at the location and may have drowned in a body of water on the property, police say.
