What’s better than wine and women? That is a rhetorical question of course.

A local winery in the Hudson Valley is hosting a Wine, Women, & Wellness event with Go Doc Go. City Winery Hudson Valley is a new hotspot located at the old Montgomery Worsted Mills. Today, this site is known as Montgomery Mills which was once in use. This property has an extensive, historic background and sits along the beautiful, Wallkill River.

City Winery Hudson Valley has collaborated with Go Doc Go, a nonprofit organization out of New Paltz. This event highlights Mother’s Day weekend and continues the celebration of women, woohoo. With the purchase of each ticket, a donation will be made for Go Doc Go as they continue their hard work abroad.

Go Doc Go’s founder, Maggie Carpenter, MD, will be giving a discussion of their mission. They take pride in improving women’s healthcare all over the world. At the same time, you can enjoy a flight of Dr. Carpenter’s favorite style of City Winery Hudson Valley wines. There will also be small bites included and a chance for Q & A as well.

You can also find out how you can make a difference or volunteer with Go Doc Go.

This event will take place on Saturday, May 15th, 2021. Doors will open at 5:45 and the event hours are 6pm until 8pm. General Admission is $55.00 per person.

I enjoy going to City Winery Hudson Valley. I love the staff; they are all so accommodating and friendly. My favorite dish is their margarita pizza and crispy chicken sandwich. As for alcohol, their mixed drinks, local beer, and wine are delicious.

Will you be attending this event? It sounds like a great day, celebrating women all over the world and learning how we can improve each other’s lives one step at a time.
