A Rhinebeck teenager who was fleeing a drug deal has been charged in the July hit-and-run death of 20-year-old Dylan Feller of Pleasant Valley.

18-year-old Brandon A. Riccobono was charged with second-degree manslaughter criminal possession of a forged instrument, leaving the scene of a fatality, and petit larceny.

According to the WPDH archives, on July 6th of 2015, the Rhinebeck Fire Department was dispatched to Route 9 in Rhinebeck due to a pedestrian accident, with a report of a person lying on the road. When emergency officials arrived on the scene they found a male subject with significant injuries. Dylan Feller was transported to Northern Dutchess Hospital and was pronounced dead on arrival.

According to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s office, after a lengthy initial investigation, Brandon A. Riccobono was indicted on November 5th. He turned himself in on Thursday.

Riccobono was released to electronic monitoring subject on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
