A priest in the Hudson Valley has been accused of inappropriate behavior with a minor in the local area.

A Westchester County priest is being investigated for inappropriate behavior with a minor, according to NBC.  Rev. Thomas Kreiser at the Church of St. Joseph in Bronxville has been removed from service and suspended from his assignment during the investigation. The Westchester County District Attorney's Office is handling the matter, according to Joseph Zwilling, director of Communications for the Archdiocese of New York, as stated in the article.

Father Kreiser has connections to the mid-Hudson Valley region. Before going to the Church of St. Joseph, he was at Sacred Heart in Monroe as an associate pastor. He also worked at St. Patrick's Church in Yorktown, at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church in Garnerville.

When Father Kreiser was at Garnerville, he was sentenced to five years probation in connection to a theft of over $25,000 from the parish for gambling and personal use.
