The Tallman Fire Department was assisted by fire departments from Hillburn, Monsey, Spring Valley, and Suffern. Also assisting at the location were Rockland Paramedics, and Ramapo Valley Ambulance Corp.

Officials say the residents of the house were not home at the time of the fire. They did have a few pets inside the home, all that were rescued by fire fighters.
