Do April snow showers bring May flowers? Well, it might be time to ponder that question because there are multiple chances of snow this weekend.

Winter just won’t end! According to Hudson Valley Weather, the local area has two chances of snow in the next three days.

The first snowstorm could come Friday morning in time for the morning commute.

“But this snow event will be different than Monday in several ways. It’s not as widespread, and not as significant," Hudson Valley Weather wrote on its website. “So a slushy coating to 2 inches could fall... but it looks like that is mainly on grassy surfaces.”

More snow could come on Saturday courtesy of a storm in Canada that’s heading east. If the storm heads further south our area won’t see snow, just very cold temps. But, if the storm takes a different path, the Hudson Valley could see several inches of snow on Saturday.

“There is good reason to believe that snow may be on the menu for Saturday," Hudson Valley Weather wrote. “The timing would be early morning into early Afternoon it seems.”

As of this writing, the National Weather Service gives the Hudson Valley a 60% chance of seeing snow on both Friday and Saturday.

The storm could lead to some snow closing and delays. For the latest information about Hudson Valley snow closings and delays CLICK HERE. Make sure to check the page often as we will continue to update with the latest snow closings and delays.
