Enjoy the bit of sunshine we will see on Thursday, because more showers are on the way.  Granted, it won’t be a total wash out.  Another low-pressure system will move across the region and will bring a chance of showers and maybe even some thunderstorms.  Most of this activity should be in the afternoon when the cold front moves through the Hudson Valley.

Temps should be mild for the day on Thursday in the mid 70’s, but once the front passes expect some chilly temps.  Friday’s high will be the mid 60’s and at night we drop into the 40’s.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Thursday:  Early morning patchy fog.  Partly sunny, high near 74.  A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Thursday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms early, otherwise partly cloudy.  Low around 49.

Friday:  Mostly sunny, high near 64.

Saturday:  Mostly sunny, high near 66.
