It will certainly feel like summer this week in the Hudson Valley as temperatures will once again approach 90 degrees with a chance of thunderstorms.

Tuesday will be the nicest day with partly cloudy skies and temps in the 80s with comfortable humidity.

That will change however.

It will become more and more humid Tuesday night into Wednesday. Highs Wednesday will be in the upper 80s with heat index values in the 90s. There will be a chance of afternoon thunderstorms.

Heat Indexes will approach 100 degrees Thursday through the weekend, as the northeast will experience hot, hazy, and oppressively humid conditions. There will be a chance of scattered thunderstorms with heavy downpours each day.

Lows Thursday and Friday night will only get down to the mid 70s.

Please be careful and drink plenty of water if you have to work outdoors.
