When I was a kid, I remember going to the drive-in with my parents.  My dad had a truck and we would sit on the tailgate or sometimes, bring chairs and sit in the back of the bed and watch the movie, eat some popcorn and have a great night under the stars.  My mom would always bring popcorn that she made because my dad was really tight with money and would only buy soda at the movies.  My mom would always brings snacks too.

It was always fun to see families and dogs enjoying a movie and the outdoors.

This weekend, that tradition begins again.

Hyde Park's Drive-In opens this weekend with Friday being it's first movie showing of the season!

Pet Cemetery will be playing beginning at 7:40pm followed by Us.

Grab the kids, some friends or even the pets (although they might not like the name of the first movie) and catch a movie....or 2.

Rain is in the forecast but it won't matter because you can sit in your vehicle.
