It was a great weekend to be out and about in the Hudson Valley.

The leaves are just starting to turn so taking a ride and getting the family outside was on the top of many peoples to do list this weekend. It's a holiday weekend which means some are enjoying an extended weekend and have Monday off.

I had the opportunity to join the Heroes for A Cure Fall Festival this weekend out in Monroe. It was an amazing event for an awesome cause, helping out the Hudson Valley chapter of the Make a Wish Foundation. The Make a Wish Foundation "serves a unique, and vital, role in helping strengthen and empower children battling life-threatening medical conditions."

Heroes for a cure will continue their festival on Monday with local country artist Nikki Briar at 3:30pm and comedian Vic Dibitetto hanging out from 1pm until 5pm with a special meet and greet in between.

Stop on by Heroes for A Cure Fall Festival at 12 School Road in Monroe on Monday. Enjoy your day off and help out a fantastic local organization.
