Have You Ever Road Shopped?

Yes it's a thing!

Think about the last time you were driving around the Hudson Valley. At one time or another you were on a road where someone had put something out at the end of their driveway or at the curb that they didn't want anymore.

Sometimes people put a FREE sign on it. I've seen all kinds of stuff including, couches, tables, refrigerators and a whole bunch more.

I remember back a few years ago, my ex-wife came across a whole dining set that someone was giving away and after a little convincing, I went to the house and picked all of it up. Now that I think about it, I may have paid a few bucks for it.

Anyway after I picked it up, we worked on all of it for a few weeks. Sanding, painting and waxing and before you knew it, it was like new and I think still in a dining room somewhere. LOL.

I can't be the only person that has ever done this in the Valley. Have you ever picked up something up from someones yard that they were giving away? Have you ever "road shopped?"
