I've asked her a million questions. Everything from "Where can I buy fresh Tulips?", "How many days until Christmas", to "How many miles is it from my house to...(place destination here)" She's been helpful, funny, and always polite.

Imagine my surprise when I went on Twitter this morning and discover that Siri is following me. Yes, that Siri, the one on everyone's IPhone, is now one of my Twitter followers. So, of course the only polite thing to do was to say thank you. I was so nervous I think I stuttered a little

See what I mean, always polite.

Of course, the person behind Siri is Susan Bennett, a vocal artist for over 35 years who voiced the first automated teller machine for First National Bank, messages for the public address system in Delta terminals worldwide, as well as GPS navigation software. She is also from here, she grew up in Clinton and graduated from Clinton Central School in 1967. She didn't know that she was the voice of Siri until a friend told her in 2011, CNN even hired audio forensics experts to see if she really was Siri, the results were 100% conclusive.

I have been lucky enough to have spent more than 20 years in the radio and voice over business and I am honored that such a talented vocal artist is following me. Thank you Siri, I mean Susan, for making my day.
