Girl Scout Cookie and Wine Pairing in Fishkill

It's the most wonderful time of the year. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we're talking about Girl Scout Cookie season!

Local Hudson Valley Girl Scouts are out and about hustling and getting us to hand over our hard-earned money in exchange for the holy grail of cookies.

Samoas. Thin Mints. Tagalongs. Do-si-dos.

You know you have a favorite. Personally, I'm a Samoa fan.

It's great to see these young ladies learning the importance of a dollar and how to manage money and sales. But it's even better for the adults because we can do things like pair our favorite cookie with an adult beverage.

Boutique Wine, Spirits and Ciders in Fishkill is doing just that. They will be hosting "Cookies and Booze: A Batch Made in Heaven" on Thursday, February 27th. There will be three sessions 4PM, 5:30PM and 7PM.
