A Hudson Valley family is offering a "generous reward" after their beloved pet went missing over a week ago.

Amber Kowalski's dog "Mac" went missing around 8 p.m. on June 30, at a dog sitter's home on Somerset Road off of Hosner Mountain Road in Hopewell Junction, according to Kowalski.

"Mac is my best friend," Amber Kowalski wrote on Facebook. "We are all devastated. Our house and lives aren't the same without him home."

According to Kowalski, Mac is a cream colored french bulldog who is neutered and micro-chipped. The family says Mac is lost in an "unfamiliar area."

"Every morning I wake up hoping today's going to be the day and every day I'm in tears and trying to balance my normal life. My fiance's 3-year-old keeps asking why we're not picking Mac up and bringing him home. My whole life is a mess since this happened and I need closure, I can't keep having my heart break every day," Kowalski said.

Sunday marked one week since Mac went missing. The family is offering a "generous reward" for whoever finds Mac. Anyone who thinks they've seen Mac can call Kowalski at 845-235-1156.
