The Dutchess County SPCA not only helps many animals find their furever home but they also offer a low-cost medical clinic and so much more for our community of animals and their families.  We work closely with them for the Wolf Pet of the Week and now the DCSPCA is searching for a new Executive Director.

According to the Hudson Valley News Network, Jackie Rose, J.D., M.S, the Executive Director has resigned from the DCSPCA effective June 30 with Donna Angiolillo, MsH, PhD, formerly the Vice President of the Board of Directors and a long time volunteer at the shelter, appointed as the acting Executive Director effective immediately.

The Hudson Valley News Network also spoke with the current board president.

The Dutchess County SPCA is a vital Hudson Valley non-profit organization, and while we search for a new Executive Director, our work continues,” said Ron M. Lane, President of the Dutchess County SPCA Board of Directors. “Our primary job is to help the animals. The DCSPCA will continue to serve the community.
