He has a sing along, foot tapping, bang your hands on the dashboard hit on his hands. Billy Currington's new song "It Don't Hurt Like It Used to" is fantastic. Currently this new Billy tune is sitting at number 5 on the Billboard Hot Country Chart up from number 9 last week It is on it way to number one for sure.

Currently on the road with his "Summer Forever" tour Billy's 2016 is going well. He doesn't have any northeast dates posted on his website but I am sure we will see him sooner or later in the Hudson Valley.

Born in 1973 he signed his record deal with Mercury Nashville in 2003. Billy has six albums and seventeen singles that include nine number ones to his credit. A few years back he played the Chance (2009), he was awesome. I still love to tell people how he came of the bus barefoot to do his meet and greet with his fans.

Check out the lyric video to his new song so you can learn the words, turn it up and sing along the next time you hear it on the 943 / 973 the Wolf.
