Cole Swindell admits he lost his mind the first time he met Reba McEntire, but it was another "meeting" that was more memorable.

The "Love You Too Late" singer was one of several stars asked to share a wardrobe malfunction prior to the 2019 CMA Awards. Carly Pearce, Tenille Townes and Brett Young also have stories, but it's Swindell's that stands out for obvious reasons: it involves the famous legend in a very intimate way.

Watch the video above for his telling of the story, and to learn which star squatted to take a meet and greet picture, only to hear their pants split.

Taste of Country's Adison Haager also presses stars on what they'd sneak into an awards show on and who makes them starstruck. Russell Dickerson and Keith Urban have the best stories to those two questions!

As for Swindell? He's not the only young country buck to have excessive fondness for McEntire (Dustin Lynch may lead her 30-something fanclub), but he's the only one with a story like this.

"Reba (McEntire) did walk in on me while I was doing my fitting for the CMA Awards. That was a malfunction," he says, smiling. "First time meeting Reba in that situation was pretty awkward."
