CJ: Finally I Don’t Have the Worst Tattoo in the World
I'm beyond happy to relinquish my long rein.
Most of have a story, or two from our past that were not so proud of, some involve long nights at the bar, stupid choices when it comes to sharing our beds and others. Others like me having that one moment where we make that decision to get a tattoo. That decision, of course was made without thinking of the long lasting consequences.
I've shared many times with everyone how much I hate the first tattoo I got way back when I was like 16 years old. If you've never seen it, here it is....
Yes, I got inked up with a cartoon character back in the day, and for 30 years or so, I've worn the crown of the worst tattoo ever as proudly as one could wear it. Today I pass the crown to this young lady from Kentucky.
According to News 10, Leah Holland, from Georgetown, recently posted a video about how she won a TikTok challenge for the dumbest tattoo. What could possibly be worse than Sylvester? How about a tattoo that says, "Courageously and radically refuse to wear a mask."
@wakaflockafloccar #stitch with @hannanicbic I could NOT have had worse timing. #fyp #foryoupage #tattoo #worsttattoo #winner P.S. I’m not anti-mask I promise ♀️
Holland told News 10 that, "I’d wanted it for a couple years." As far as the meaning behind it, she says, "It basically means like, being true to yourself and real, and not pretending to be something you’re not. I got this March 4th, 2020." Yup, she got it right before the coronavirus pandemic took over the world. Talk about bad timing. For her yes, but for me, I'll take the win and pass off the crown for dumbest tattoo ever with pleasure.
Holland did add that she's not anti-mask and never thought the ink would become an issue, she said she, "became mortified" and had to wear wore long sleeved shirts and cardigans all summer. As time has passed she did say she can now laugh at it and "it will be a funny story to tell years from now".
