This is arguably the best time of year to live in the Hudson Valley because of all of the great things to do outside.

This weekend is no different because Saturday is National Trails Day and you can celebrate it at the Grand Opening of the Hudson River Skywalk across the Rip Van Winkle Bridge.

It's the newest Hudson Valley Trail that will feature a ribbon cutting, live music and vendors this Saturday.

There will be activities for the kids, food trucks, musical performances from local students as well as enjoying the walk.

The weather is expected to be nice with no rain but we know how that goes lately.  It's something that you should maybe plan to do but keep an open agenda for the day just in case it does rain.

If you would like more information, a map of parking, a schedule of events or to make reservations for one of their activities you can go HERE
