Rumors have been circulating for months about Buffalo Wild Wings opening another Hudson Valley location.

In 2012, the Kingston Buffalo Wild Wings closed down after filing for bankruptcy. Since then Ulster County residents have had to travel to get their fill of wings from "B-Dubs"

There are Buffalo Wild Wings in Newburgh, Middletown and Wappinger Falls, but on Friday, officials from Ulster County officially announced Buffalo Wild Wings was returning the county.

Back in June, rumors started swirling that Buffalo Wild Wings was going to open at the old Ruby Tuesday location in Kingston. Ruby Tuesday closed down its Kingston location in 2016 while closing a number of underperforming restaurants around the country.

At the time, Buffalo Wild Wings didn't respond to our request to confirm the rumors, but a dead giveaway was the company had job postings for an Ulster County location on Indeed.com.

On Friday, the Town of Ulster Clerk confirmed the news on Facebook, Buffalo Wild Wings is returning to Kingston at the old Ruby Tuesday location.

"We have received several phone calls about this property (former Ruby Tuesday), and our Town building inspector confirmed the renovation in her Department report — yes it is true, Buffalo Wild Wings is coming back to the Town. Renovations are underway," the Town of Ulster Clerk wrote on Facebook.
