The Hudson Valley saw a bit of sunshine for Monday afternoon, which wasn’t expected.  There are a few more low-pressure systems that need to move through our area, which will keep showers and thunderstorms in Tuesday and part of Wednesday’s forecast.  A trough of low pressure has moved out of the region but an upper level low will move over the area and touch off showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday afternoon.  As the low departs on Wednesday, we’ll get some more showers.  After that a clear and dry forecast.  This will also cause daytime temps to remain below average.

Tuesday:  Partly sunny, with afternoon showers and thunderstorms expected.  High near 70.

Tuesday night:  Mostly cloudy, with a chance of showers.  Low near 51.

Wednesday:  Partly sunny, high near 69.

Thursday:  Mostly sunny, high 74.

Friday:  Expect more sunshine and some warmer temperatures.
