The Hudson Valley's annual celebration of filmmaking, the Woodstock Film Festival, is starting in just over a month, running from October 11th to October 15th. And now, word has come out about a very cool guest who will be in the area for the fest.

Giancarlo Esposito, better known as Gus Motherflippin' Fring from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, will be attending the Woodstock Film Festival. Esposito is featured in a new musical film called Stuck, which will be screening at the festival on the 11th for its New York premiere. After the film, Esposito and his fellow cast members will participate in a Q&A and even perform some songs from the film's score.

I'm a big fan of Esposito, who was a great character actor in movies for a long time - going all the way back to Do the Right Thing - before he landed his iconic role as chicken/crystal meth magnate Gus Fring on Breaking Bad. Since then he's been reprising the role on Better Call Saul and has appeared on shows like The Get Down and Dear White People.

Also appearing at the festival is Rebecca Miller, daughter of playwright Arthur Miller who is showing off a film about her father, and actors Bill Pullman and Susan Surandon. Some great actors will be on site, and some really exciting films are being shown, too. Tickets for the 18th Annual Woodstock Film Festival go on sale September 20th.
