Police are investigating and awaiting the results of an autopsy after the death of a Hyde Park woman.

On November 19, at approximately 3:57 a.m. the Town of Hyde Park Police were dispatched to the Roosevelt Inn, 4360 Albany Post Road for an unconscious and unresponsive woman.

Patrols arrived and found the female, identified as 38-year-old Jennifer C. Minihane, deceased. She rented the room with her husband David J Minihane on the evening of Nov. 18.

A file check revealed that there was a full stay-away order of protection in place prohibiting David from being with Jennifer and their children. David was arrested for four counts of criminal contempt.

Jennifer’s death is being investigated by Hyde Park Police Detective and the Dutchess County Medical Examiner’s office. The results of the autopsy are not complete at this time.

Minihane was arraigned and remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail, or $40,000 bond. He is scheduled to return to court next month.
