Can you believe it's already the last Wednesday in October? Halloween is Friday. How did that get here so fast, wasn't it just the 4th of July? With that in mind, here's this week's musical witches, I mean wishes.

Bobby Pickett lip-synched his "monster" hit "Monster Mash" on American Bandstand. I wish he had done it live, it's a bit odd, but still fun.

There had been a lot of talk about remaking the classic "Ghostbusters" and now the wait is over. It will be an all-female reboot of the movie. Wish granted! Here's the original song to add to our Halloween playlist.

Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy starred as 3 witch sisters in "Hocus Pocus". What a fun Halloween movie and it wouldn't be complete without a song from Bette. Wish I had seen this in the theaters on the big screen.

Here's one that may surprise you. It's a song that I don't think many people think of when it comes to Halloween, but I wish they would. It was shot in a graveyard, there's a full moon, and you wonder whether Hank was really there or not.  Alan Jackson "Midnight in Montgomery" from 1992.
