March came in like a lion and is determined to go out like one as well. On the final day of the snowiest month of this winter, just when we thought we were cleared for Spring, we could see more snow. Here's the details.

According to the National Weather Service, a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for a large portion of Eastern New York including Ulster, Dutchess, Greene, and Columbia counties, and is in effect from 2 am Friday to 5 pm on Saturday.

Snow, sleet, and freezing rain is what we could get and some of these areas could see as much as 3-6 inches of snow and sleet with an additional accumulation of ice across higher terrains.

The snow is expected to begin late tonight into tomorrow morning. There is a potential with this system that some areas could see snowfall rates of up to an inch per hour. The snow is expected to be a heavy and wet snowfall, which could lead to scattered power outages.

Should this cause any delays or cancellations, get what you need to know here.
