Winter weather is once again knocking on the door of the Hudson Valley and depending on where you live could mean the difference between a warning or an advisory. If you live in Orange and Sullivan Counties, you will be under a  warning beginning tomorrow morning.

According to the National Weather Service, Sullivan County will be under a Winter Storm Warning from 4 am to 10 pm on Wednesday with 6-9 inches of snow expected and the possibility of locally heavier amounts of up to 11 inches. Orange County is under a Winter Storm Warning from 6 am to 10 pm on Wednesday with the expected accumulation of 4 to 6 inches with additional ice accumulation of a tenth of an inch.

If you live in either of these counties, please be prepared for difficult traveling conditions with times of reduced visibility. IF you don't need to go anywhere it could be the perfect day to stay home. Should there be any closings or cancellations we will have the complete list at our Storm Center.
