We are in the thick of the Hudson Valley winter season. Obviously, we've seen some serious snow the past few weeks.

Thanks to the first pelting we received with the bomb cyclone two weeks ago and then the serving we got this week, it's safe to say the Hudson Valley is covered in snow.

With snow comes the inevitable cabin fever.

If you're looking for some fun family activities that gets you out of the house and outdoors, then look no further than Bowdoin Park in Wappingers.

According to the Dutchess County Government Facebook page, thanks to the winter weather we've experienced, their popular winter activities are open and available throughout the week.

If you're not from Dutchess County then let me fill you in on a little secret, Bowdoin has one of, if not the, best sledding hills in the Hudson Valley. Sledding as well as ice skating on their small rink is open every day until 5pm.

Planning on skating or sledding? Admission is free, but you must bring your own skates and sleds.
