If you thought farmer's markets were only for the warmer weather months then you have been thinking wrong. Farmer's markets now happen all year round and this time of year there are some seasonal goodies you don't want to miss. This weekend you can shop two local winter farmer's market. One is Saturday in Kingston, the other is Sunday in Rosendale.

Both Farmer's markets will get you, the shopper, access to local farm fare as well as local flavor in the form of food, drink even music and art. Kingston's Market is Saturday located inside the Old Dutch Church at 272 Wall Street in Kingston from 10a to 2p. On Sunday you will find the Rosendale Winter Farmer's Market inside the Rosedale Rec Center at 1055 Route 32 in Rosendale from 10a to 2p.

Jams, Jellies, maple syrup and candies plus prepared items will be on hand at both seasonal markets. Discover what a winter farmer's market can offer that the summer markets can't, bring your recipes and appetites you will definitely find something for your table this weekend.
