Currently, the Hudson Valley is home to three JCPenney locations. You can find stores at the Poughkeepsie Galleria, Galleria Crystal Run in Middletown and another in the Palisades Mall in West Nyack. There was also a location in Kingston, however that location has been closed since 2015.

The Business Insider is reporting that there hasn't been an official list of stores closing yet. However, MorningStar Credit Ratings has discovered the 39 JCPenney locations most vulnerable to closing based on the sales data from each store. Business Insider continues to explain that "the stores most at risk of closing either require a significant capital investment or have below-average sales."

According to the MorningStart Credit Rating data, the Poughkeepsie Galleria and Middletown JCPenney locations are safe from closing. Unfortunately, the Palisades Mall locating in West Nyack made the list as a store most at risk of closing.
