Where to Get a Fishing License in the Hudson Valley

Early season fishermen will be hitting the shore and looking for their first catch of the season. The first day of trout season across New York State began April 1. After the long and bitterly cold winter we experienced there is no doubt that the anglers of the Hudson Valley are itching to get out there and fish.

If you want to get out there too, don’t forget to get your fishing license first. Anybody who is 16 years or older can purchase a fishing license from some local bait and tackle shops or from your towns license and permit office. You can also get your license online and print it out here.

The license will cost you $25 this season but will bring you a priceless amount of fun on the water.
