What’s in Your Water?

You can now find out whats in your drinking water by using a new interactive online tool.

According to WTEN, you can now see how safe your drinking water is by using the "what's in my water tool", that is now avaiable online and free to use.

All you need to do is go to "What's in my water" and enter your zip code and the tool will search the area and then give you results about contaminants found in the water through state and federal laboratory testing.

Plus the tool will give you the location and what could potentially cause a threat to your drinking water.

Megan Ahearn, the Program Director from the New York Public Interest Research Group told WTEN that “Access to clean drinking water should not be a privilege. Access to clear information about water shouldn’t be either."
