What’s Happening This Weekend in the Hudson Valley: Back to School Edition

Saturday, September 9; 10-5: Locust Grove Peony Sale. Fall is the time to plant peonies to have beautiful flowers for next summer. How cool would it be to have some of the heirloom varieties on the historical grounds of Locust Grove in Poughkeepsie? There are pink, white, and purple to choose from and each large division is $15. Saturday, September 9; 9-6: The 44th Annual Town of Olive Day. Participate in the 5K, bring the kids for crafts and activities, watch the frog jumping contests, enjoy live music and a wide variety of food.
