Saturday, September 6, 8:00-5:00: The 20th Catskill Rod Makers Gathering is the largest in the world and will be held at the Catskill Fly Fishing Center. They will have bamboo makers coming from as far away as Japan. For more information, call the Center, 845-439-4810 for more information.

Sunday, September 9, 9-4: Don't miss the Antique Tractor Pull at the Orange County Farmer's Museum in Montgomery. Enjoy a day of pulling fun and learn about the history of tractor pulling as a sport. Walk through the extensive farm equipment exhibits that date back to the 1700′s. Refreshments available. Free admission.

Sunday, September 9: Don't miss the HITS Championship & Charlie Daniels Band Live in Concert. HITS has been producing hunter/jumper horse shows since 1982 and is now a nationwide company with world-class circuits in California, Florida, Arizona, New York and Virginia. Coupled with exciting equestrian show jumping and delectable food tastings, the day will serve as the culmination of the 2014 HITS-on-the-Hudson horse show circuit in Saugerties. Seating for the concert opens at 4:30.

Saturday, September 6, 10-3: Enjoy the Hopewell Depot Restoration's Arts and Crafts Expo at the Depot, the Hopewell end of the rail trail. Artists and crafters present their creations including water colors, jewelry, painting-on-wood, crocheted animals, soy candles, and other items. Admission is free as are food items, courtesy of the Blue Fountain.
