Saturday, April 9, all day: Second Saturday in Beacon. Enjoy a day celebrating the arts in Beacon. There will be a Calling All Poets Anthology book launch at the Howland Public LIbrary, opening receptions at Matteawan Gallery and Bau Gallery, a Howland Chamber Music Circle Pop-Up Concert: Rupert Boyd & Laura Metcalf at the Beahive, and much more.

Saturday, April 9 2-4: Auditions for Shakespeare Abridged to be held at the Sullivan County Museum, put on by the Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop. Three actors are needed. Male or female, age irrelevant, but improv skills and a  sense of fun is a big help. The performance dates will be September 9-11 & 16-18.

Saturday, April 9; 7 pm: It's back, Crazy Hat Bingo, presented by Hudson Valley Bingo Masters and  the Mad Hatters at High Meadow School in Stone Ridge. Get ready to craft and show off your millinery creations. This annual fund-raiser helps underwrite community events in High Falls for the year. There will be a buffet meal with desserts, coffee and tea, provided by local restaurants, food artisans and caterers. This is a BYOB event with adult beverages allowed. Admission is $20 for adults and $15 for Seniors. 21 and over only.

Saturday, April 9; 10 - 12: Frog Frenzy at Fuller Mountain Preserve in Warwick. This family-friendly hike, led by a guide, will take participants to the Preserve's woodland pool which is full of peepers, wood frogs, and other sounds and signs of spring.
