What’s Happening This Weekend in the Hudson Valley

February is here already and while there may not be a lot of snow to enjoy winter sports in the Hudson Valley, there are still many great events going on this weekend for you and your family to enjoy.

Saturday, February 6; 9:30-4: Flyfest at Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum. Get out of the house and have a fun day with others l\who enjoy fly fishing. Tie some flies, socialize and have an early peak at the new exhibits,a wonderful excuse to get out of the house.

Sunday, February 7; 9-11: Sunday Bounce at Mr. Todd's Gymnastics in Poughkeepsie. For only $10 enjoy an open gym where parents can go out on the floor with their children and have fun. They can also play on the spring floors, rope swing, bounce on the tumble tracks(long trampolines) and bounce castles, pre-school shapes, balance beams, bars and more.

Saturday, February 6; 11-2:  Hudson Valley Rail Trail Winterfest. Come out and enjoy the day with a Chili cook off, bonfire, roasted chestnuts, hayrides, games and more. Admission: $2; children six and under, free. Hudson Valley Rail Trail, 101 New Paltz Rd., Highland.

Sunday, February 7: Ice Skating on Super Bowl Sunday at Bear Mountain Ice Rink. Enjoy public skating sessions at 10-11:30 am, 12-1:30 pm, 2-3:30 pm, and  4-5:30 pm.
