The first weekend of November is here, and while our attentions will soon turn to Thanksgiving and the upcoming holiday season, this weekend is waiting for you to explore and relax. Here's some suggestions.

Red Hook & The Chocolate Festival, Saturday 11/1. This day-long festival will be filled with competitions, tastings, art exhibitions and performances all with a central theme of chocolate, but don't expect the same, old same old. In addition to the die-hard family favorites - brownies, cakes and chocolates and so on, there will also be new and exciting things to see and try. Chocolate & chili, chocolate & bacon, chocolate flavored beauty products, and more.
