With 1 week left before Halloween, there are plenty of things to do this weekend in the Hudson Valley, here's a few suggestions.

Saturday, October 25: Halloween in Wassaic. Enjoy a day of Halloween activities starting at 3pm. It’s all hosted by the Wassaic Project, the Wassaic Volunteer Fire Department and the Lantern! Open Studios at the Luther Barn, sip hot cider and walk through the studios of their October Artists-in-Residence, and hay rides with the Wassaic Volunteer Fire Department. There will be a kid's costume contest at 4:30 at the Wassaic Fire Department, from 5-6 enjoy s'mores at The Lantern, and from 6-9 visit the scary artist-made Haunted House at Maxon Mills. ( Recommended for teens and adults only!)

Saturday, October 25: Halloween Dance at the Delaware Community Center from 8 pm-11 pm. It's back by popular demand! Enjoy live music and prizes for best costumes, please bring your own refreshments.

Sunday, October 26: Sixth Annual Woodstock Invitational Luthiers Showcase and Tonewood Festival  at the Bearsville Theater and Utopia Soundstage, 291 & 293 Tinker Street in Woodstock from 11-6. The Woodstock Invitational is an alternative guitar show, featuring fine, contemporary, handmade acoustic guitars and stringed musical instruments, exhibited by their makers.
