Do you just throw them in the garbage or do you do something else with them?

Most likely if you haven't taken down your Christmas decorations yet, you'll be doing it this weekend. After you get done putting all the lights, ornaments and anything else holiday related away till next year, what do you do with all the great Christmas cards that you got this year?

I always feel guilty just throwing them in the garbage especially if the cards are the picture kind. You know the ones that have the kids on them. I feel bad putting garbage on top of them every year, I actually make sure that when I do throw them out the pictures are facing down so I don't see any faces.

So this year I thought, what else can I do with them instead of just throwing them out? We got some great suggestions when I asked on the air today including making a scrap book of the picture ones.

Another suggestion was from a lady who said that she saves them with her Christmas decorations so that next year, when she opens the boxes again, there they are. She looks at them once more, then she tosses them out and this years cards start to come in.

My favorite suggestion besides just burning them was from Judy who told us that she has been doing this for years. She sends them to St Jude, she said that all we need to do is send just the covers / fronts cards ( NO writing on back ) to:

ST.JUDE'S RANCH FOR CHILDREN RECYCLED CARD PROGRAM 100 ST. JUDE 's ST. BOULDER CITY , NV 89005.

Such a great idea!
