Weed Delivered to Upper Hudson Valley Home Instead of Toys
Pamela Marks from Valatie received quite the delivery last week at her home.
According to the Daily Freeman, Pamela, who works at home as a product tester, estimates that she opens thousands of boxes from all different companies that are interested in her services, but none were like the box she opened last Thursday.
She expected to open a box that had a toy company name on it and find toys in the box. That's not what she found. She found seven pounds of marijuana.
Marks told WNYT, "First, I noticed it was two shoe box looking boxes wrapped in black plastic, what looked to me to be green foam vacuum sealed into a container."
Yes, the contents were green but not foam.
She said, "I've never seen anything delivered like this, so I took the sharp object and started slitting one of the plastic containers and a big woof of skunk smell came out at me and I was like I knew right then and there that I had the wrong thing."
Marks did contact the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office and they are now investigating.
