Does this mom have a point?

If you missed it on the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show, we got talking about an email that we got last week from a mom that is helping plan her daughters wedding. Here is what she asked of us and you...

My daughter is getting married in October, and we are just thrilled. We think her fiance is a great guy, and we are looking forward to her big day. This weekend, we were going over things with her DJ, and when it came time to talk about the father/daughter and mother/son dances, I thought I would tell them what I was thinking. I mentioned that I wanted to include a mother/daughter dance, instead of a father/daughter dance. He gets to make a father of the Bride speech, and walk her down the aisle. All I get to do is sit there. My daughter and I are very close, and I think it would be a nice moment for us. She is an only child, so I will never get a “mother/son” dance. My husband thinks it’s tacky, and that it’s his moment with our daughter. My daughter didn’t even get to think about it because my husband told the DJ we will not be doing that. I think my husband is being selfish, and is making this a moment about him. He already gets to make a speech and walk her down the aisle; I think I should have the dance.

Am I being crazy about this?
