Waylon & Willie Featured This Week on The Original Country Gold With Rowdy Yates

If you have a favorite country song, or two, that you haven’t heard in awhile, chances are that Rowdy Yates has it and will play it for you weekends on The Original Country Gold with Rowdy Yates, Saturday nights from 7 to midnight and Sunday mornings from 6-11.

This week, Rowdy will be shining the spotlight on the first duets album that Waylon and Willie released in 1976. The album went gold, and for very good reason.

This song went to number one, stayed at the top of the charts for four weeks, won a Grammy, and it's now the stuff of legends.

Who can forget this one...I know you know the words.

This was also on the album, as it was a mixture of solo songs as well as duets between the two artists.

There's so many reasons as to why I love Rowdy’s show, whether he’s playing an older artist like Kenny or Merle Haggard, or younger ones like Garth, Alan Jackson, etc, it always bring backs memories and I find myself singing along before I know it.
