As you learned yesterday with 3 Things, I hiked up Mount Beacon over the weekend. I've done it once before and I enjoy myself more and more each time I go. Clearly, I had a good time:

While making our descend down the mountain, my friends and I were discussing how cool it would be if there were some waterfalls around. After discussing this with other friends and finding the Hike The Hudson Valley Facebook page... my mind was blown. There are several spots in the Hudson Valley that have beautiful waterfalls.

There's Kaaterskill Falls in Tannersville,  which I'm pretty sure I drove by on my way to the Taste of Country Music Festival. Sam's Point in Ulster County is a hot spot to see great waterfalls. Thanks to Hike The Hudson Valley I found out about High Falls Conservation. Take a look at this beautiful picture from their Facebook page:

Or what about the Falling Water Preserve?

Absolutely gorgeous.

Do you know of any waterfalls in the Hudson Valley? Let us know on Facebook, I want to put it on my summer to do list.
